Complete all journal postings and maintain responsibility for ensuring the ledger is fully up to date
Complete all balance sheet reconciliations and ensure sign off by CFO every month end
Liaise with cross Group members for completion of intercompany postings and reconciliations
Handle all AP, AR and payroll responsibilities
Process all bank account payments and manage relationships with banks
Oversee tax compliance and reporting
Manage external audits
Liaise directly with, and approve submissions to financial and regulatory bodies
Reports all control weaknesses to the group CFO with recommended improvements
Prepare month end accounts
Prepare payroll, supplier and ad-hoc payment reports for review and sign off
Assist with forecasts, budgeting and ad-hoc internal financial reports
Prepare weekly cashflow forecast reports
Commercial & Operations
Assist CFO and business partners with pricing, bids and tenders on all assignments
Continuously seek to improve the health and operations of the business through identifying and improving on control and reporting weaknesses
Required Qualifications & Experience:
The FA should be a CPA certified with at least 5 years of related experience for international companies.
The FA should have extensive experience in month end, financial reporting as well as tax and accounting knowledge in the UK, Malaysia and the UAE. Experience of working with Xero is preferred, but not essential.
The candidate should however demonstrate excellent accounting ERP knowledge. The candidate must be organized, proactive, hard-working and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
